Work: Historic Landmark designation of the 896 sf minimal traditional house built in 1947 for Ona Harrington, College Heights Addition Type: designation Staff rec: Approval of the Historic Overlay, with photographic documentation and proposed design guidelines Discussion: Staff noted 'original tax records reveal little about the origins of the house'; Neal Cooper of Copper Street Homes deferred his comments to the companion CA case. Outcome: approved with conditions (7-0) — moved Margaret Telford, second Ashley Anderson Conditions: Conditions as presented

Work: Renovate the 1947 house and construct a new two-story rear addition (2,393 sf total); architect Russell Moran Type: addition Staff rec: Approval with conditions (HL16-08 approved; building permit; exterior materials by separate staff-approved CAs) Discussion: Cooper said the rear addition was set back 'to keep the street view appropriate for the Township' and the foundation must be addressed 'as water was now flowing underneath the house'; Derr questioned whether the windows were appropriate for 1948, and Cooper agreed to do one-over-one windows.
