Work: Historic Landmark Overlay for the 1936 B. R. Wall House - a traditional cottage built as an investment by Mayor B. R. Wall (Grapevine's second-longest-serving mayor), contributing structure in the National Register Original Township Historic District. Type: designation Staff rec: Approve (record the property's history and give HPC input in future development) Discussion: A support letter from Wendy and Greg Sippel was read; Patricia Whetstone said she was 'grateful Grapevine had people to help homeowners... bring the house back to its glory.' Asked by Telford whether they were tearing down, Mr. Whetstone said no - 'happy to modify, happy to renovate.' Outcome: approved (6-0) — moved Jason Parker, second Margaret Telford
