Work: Construct a new 829 sq ft two-story addition to the rear of the existing 1,171 sq ft house and a one-story breezeway connecting to the existing 737 sq ft garage (College Heights Addition, not landmarked; 2,737 sq ft total, 37.5% coverage). Design by architect Russell Moran. Type: addition Staff rec: Approve with conditions Discussion: Hoffmeyer said the lot has little back yard but a fourteen-foot side yard so "the side porch would work well for them," and that after once owning a big house this property is "more manageable." No opposition; brief hearing. Outcome: approved with conditions (5-0) — moved Jim Niewald, second Margaret Telford Conditions: Building permit to be obtained from the Building Services Department
