Box house; construct a 750 sq ft one-story rear addition (master bedroom/bath); variance to combine the 200 sq ft storage-building allowance with the existing 459 sq ft garage; new garage roofline with shed dormer for attic storage (4,055 sq ft total, within the 4,100 sq ft cap). Type: addition, garage_outbuilding, roof Staff rec: Approve with conditions Discussion: Klempin noted the house originally had "beautiful hip roofs with four-foot overhangs" destroyed in a 1960s attic fire and replaced with trusses, saying "it would be wonderful to see the original hip roof restored someday," though the owner has no such plans. Two new commissioners seated (David Ewbank; Janice Rhoda as alternate) and Taylor Bunn moved from alternate to full commissioner, replacing Gilliland and Niewald. Chairman Shope welcomed "the youngest attendee at 9 days old."
