CA25-02 — 150 West College Street, Suite #318 ⭐College St

Work: Renovate the south facade of the 1975 former Guest Furniture Store building (landmarked, College Street Residential Historic District) for the relocated Bull Lion Winery: repaint facade a taupe/limestone color with black accents, add four black metal window awnings, gooseneck lighting, tenant wall sign and logo medallion, and a sepia-tone mural on the southeast corner. Type: paint, sign, other Staff rec: approve with conditions Discussion: Klempin noted the new color would be 'a limestone kind of color' and that no outdoor seating is allowed; applicant Tordiglione said the mural was a City Council member's suggestion and he is talking with local artist Stylle Reed about a sepia mural of wine and grapes. Garcia said the awnings and new color 'will make a striking change' to the facade, and Telford said she was 'excited to see the changes.' Outcome: approved with conditions (6-0) — moved Margaret Telford, second Theresa Meyer Conditions: All exterior materials, windows, doors and door hardware, light fixtures and paint color selections to be approved under a separate Certificate of Appropriateness; Building permit to be obtained from the Building Services Department
